The Health Freedom Foundation (HFF) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (which means donations are tax-deductible). Through innovative thinking, positive strategies, and hard work, HFF promotes access to integrative medicine and dietary supplements. We achieve results with the following: - Support strategies and projects that will help benefit health freedom issues.
- Lobby Congress and craft legislation; act as a government watchdog and file comments on proposed rulings.
- Educate consumers, health professionals, and policy makers about the value of alternative medicine and dietary supplements.
- Actively promotes awareness and acceptance of health freedom issues.
- Litigate, as necessary, to protect the rights of consumers, in particular their right to access the full range of therapies, and to protect the rights of practitioners to make those therapies available without threat of censure, harassment or sanctions.
- Invest in building relationships with other organizations to share resources and develop the best answers to leading health freedom problems.
- HFF supports the free exchange of ideas and information between different schools of thought with regard to health care, and encourages cooperation and shared knowledge in pursuit of improved health and genuine wellness for humankind.
Our goal is to maintain sufficient resources to allow us to undertake activities that increase American’s health care options and reassert the sanctity of the doctor-patient relationship.
